The King's Garden in Copenhagen - sometimes referred to as Rosenborg Garden - was laid out during the reign of King Christian IV in connection to his pleasure Palace. A beautiful place to just take a blanket and lay down in the sun.

If the weather is good you should consider doing what a lot of locals do - do a picnic in The King’s Garden (Kongens Have). There is a food market in the area - perfect for picnic shopping before you go in the park - it is called Torvehallerne.

Kongens Have was outside the city walls, when the king built his "summer house" here. Wonderful rose garden (google Rosenhaven) and along Sølvgade an amazingly beautiful 200 meter flower bed
