Take a walk on the Luchtsingel that connects a couple of important parts of the city to get the true urban Rotterdam feel. During your walk don't forget to make a pitstop at the Biergarten (in summer, for drinks) or Op 't Dak (for breakfast and lunch - ask around it's not easy to find). You will find the Luchtsingel by simply following the Hofbogen towards the city centre.

A wooden bridge starting near Biergarten and ending in the Pompenburg parc connecting two parts of the city divided by the train tracks and busy street. Paid for by crowdfunders, I was one of them :-)

See Rotterdam from a different perspective! Crowdfunded wooden, yellow bridge designed by ZUS that was built to improve the connection between three areas. Good for Instagram too.
