Get amazed with the classic collection of portraits at the National Portrait Gallery which is an astounding Canberra tourist place. Here you can witness the prominent artworks of famous Australian artists. The collection of portraits began in the year 1998 and it still keeps on adding elegant masterpieces to its collection. The plan for this unique gallery was proposed by painter Tom Roberts and later it was built on the greenfield site. This beautiful gallery sprawls over 14,000-meter squares and features temporary as well as permanent exhibitions. It also comprises the functions areas, theaters, education areas, and a whole lot more areas for art lovers. The design of the gallery is inspired by Greek style and extends the views of external landscapes! Location: King Edward Terrace, Parkes ACT 2600, Australia Timings: All days, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
