The Blue Ridge Parkway is wonderful on so many levels! It is lovely to take a drive, especially in the fall when the leaves are colorful. You can access the Appalachian Trail or hike on one of the many trails off of the Parkway. It's also lovely to ride bikes or motorcycles. There are a number of Scenic Overlooks, and we like to take a picnic dinner and watch the sunset.
