Take a break and hit the lake. East lake sits at the top of a volcano and has great views, fishing, trails, and hot springs. This is a very unique Central Oregon experience and one of our favorite places to spend the day or week.

Open in the summer, East Lake is situated in the Newberry Caldera and is fed by snowmelt and underground springs. Spend the day fishing for brown trout, rainbow trout, brook trout, Atlantic salmon and kokanee. You will also find a sweet little onsite gift shop and cafe'.
