Beautiful Chesil Cove is just 5 minutes walk from the cottage. A stunning location for swimming on calm summer days and a dramatic place to watch the storms in winter. From here you can take the coast path up to the top of Portland for spectacular views across the Jurassic Coast. There is also a rocky footpath along the shore (beyond the beach huts) which makes an enjoyable short walk. On a flat, calm day the water is lovely and clear and ideal for snorkelling and scuba diving. However swimming/paddling is dangerous when there are waves - keep well away from the water's edge and enjoy the views from a safe distance.

World heritage Jurassic Coast. Miles and miles of Superb long sandy Chesil Beach. Only 40 mins drive from Tower House. Recommend The Hive Cafe, Burton Bradstock for lunch or supper
