There are cycle tracks following around the Lake Wanaka. One side heads out to Glendu Bay which requires an experienced intermediate rider, the other side heads out to the outlet track, this is much easier and goes all the way to Hawea lake if you wanted a big day out. both are lovely tracks that you can walk or cycle.
