Delicious seafood, beautiful views. Best She crab soup and lobster bisque on the beach. One of the cleanest kitchens on the beach.

Probably our favorite of the classic older restaurants in Nags Head, Tale of The Whale is a sound front restaurant with great views of the Roanoke sound and delicious seafood. Highly recommended. If you are trying to save a few dollars they usually run an "early bird" special with a discount for those seated by a certain time. Please call them to confirm that offer and time.

Great up-scale dining. A bit on the pricey side, but great 4 star quality food. Fantastic local sea food specials, great surf and turf specials, and delicious steaks and chicken.

Probably the best seafood restaurant, in my opinion, huge portions, waterfront dining. They also have a nice bar outside and live music on evenings!
