At Grünerløkka you find a pulsing life with lots of restaurants, small niche shops and bars. Every weekend it’s a great place to go for a walk and have a glass of wine or food in one of the small restaurants. I really like the area around Blå, Den lille ostebutikken, Trattoria Populare and Süd Øst. A hidden secret is St. Paulis Biergarten and Hønse Lovisas Hus next to Akerselva. A walk down Akerselva all the way from Nydale. (Take the bus up) and down to city centre is recommended.

Home to the most hipster style neighborhood in Oslo. Great food and bars all over and parks every other block.

The original hipster area of Oslo is nice to walk around in. Centered around Olaf Ryes plass you'll find heaps of street cafés and bars where the locals enjoy a drink, lunch or dinner. Nice Vibe.
