Wonderful walks among SAs best plants. Sweet restaurant. And a hike with waterfall swims. It also has 5km park runs every Saturday morning at 8. There is an entrance fee (except when doing the park run)
Harold Porter national botanical garden is situated in the centre of the coastal fynbos where the flora is at its richest. Itis great for hikes, picnicking, relaxing and it has opportunities for great photographs. On Saturdays, they host parkruns and concerts during December.
Lovely hiking trails and you can take your own picnic basket if you just want to relax.

“This is a wonderful alternative to seeing the Penguins at Boulders Beach in Simon's Town. While not as scenic as it lacks the boulders, you can get quite close to the penguins plus it's cheaper to get in and has much fewer tourists!”
