An "enchanted forest," primitive species of fish relatively unchanged over the of years, towering bald cypress trees with massive trunks, luxuriant growths of Spanish moss; this is Merchants Millpond.

Enjoy hiking, canoeing or kayaking! The visitors' center is a lovely place to learn about the Millpond's history. Lots of great trails and you may even see an alligator or two!
