Farmers' market with seasonal produce. About 1km away. This is a market locals go to. Don't expect bells and whistles, take cash, probably no English and some vendors only speak Russian. But the produce is good and seasonal.

Central Farmer's Market. If you are after an exotic experience, walk to the market on a Saturday morning. The produce is fresh and prices are unbeatable.

Fresh fruits and lot's of selection for veggies and spice-girls outdoors and best offers at the gate. Lot's of local food you can't get from the shops. If you are a meat lover, you have to get into the market building, but be aware of soviet time hygiene and presentation aqward surprises! I love…
