Pratumnak Night Market, also known as Russian Night Market due to the range of Russian delicacies available here, is located in Pratumnak Alley, which makes it quite popular with tourists (meaning that the prices here are a little higher). One of the biggest and certainly amongst the most popular of the local markets, it attracts tourists and locals alike each weekend. Sometimes known as “Kankheha Thepprasit Market”, it is home to an impressive range of clothes, jewellery, mobile phone accessories, make-up, toys, gadgets, souvenirs and Thai cuisine. As is to be expected of a street market, most of the wares are cheap copies, particularly the CDs and DVDs, but there are still some excellent bargains to be found on surprisingly good non-branded items, particularly if you haggle the prices down a bit.
