Great dear farm with lots of different Australian animals for the kids! Also a great restaurant, incredible views. We always take our kids there!

This place is free to visit. Outside there is a menagerie of animals, deer, emu, ostrich, goats, ducks and geese. There are usually babies of some sort to watch and you can buy feed to feed the animals. Inside, is a gift shop and cafe/restaurant. The food is great, and I would order a meal or a devonshire tea and sit on the balcony on a sunny day or by the fire on a cooler day and enjoy the spectacular views of this restaurant. The mountain you can see from the balcony is Mount Feathertop which is gorgeous in winter covered in snow.

There's a deer and emu farm on the property where this restaurant sits. Take the kids and usually there's animals wandering around a small park outside and the kids can see Deer, Emu's and an Ostrich up close. I've eaten in the restaurant on a Father's day before, it was a great meal - well worth the trip if you're heading that way.
