오사카를 이해하기 좋은 곳 고층에서 보는 오사카성 어린이들이 좋아할 박물관 오사카 고대부터 근현대사까지 모두 볼 수 있는 오사카 역사 박물관. 총 10층의 건물로 구성된 오사카 역사 박물관 관람과 체험을 함께 즐길 수 있다. 특히 10층에 위치한 고대 전시실에서는 우리나라 백제의 모습도 함께 볼 수 있는데, 과거 오사카가 우리나라와 밀접한 관계를 맺었던 것을 생각하면 쉽사리 이해가 간다. 그리고 대부분의 전시물들이 실물 사이즈로 제작이 되어 마치 살아있는 듯한 느낌을 생생하게 볼 수 있다는 점이 인상적이다. 또한 각 층마다 간이 전망대가 있어 어느 층에서도라도 오사카의 전망을 즐길 수 있어 좋다. 꼭대기 층부터 계단을 통해 내려오면서 전시실을 둘러는 형태로, 한쪽 벽면이 유리로 되어 있어 내려오면서 오사카를 구경할 수 있다.

Located on the outskirts of the Osaka Castle grounds, this museum brings to life the city's 1400-year history. Each floor details a different period of Osaka's history beginning with the most recent and moving upward to ancient exhibits on the museum's uppermost floors, culminating with a full-size, partial recreation of the regal Naniwanomiya Palace on the highest level.
