Great place to buy snorkel gear, boogie boards, carts/wagon, and life vests. Plus you can stock up on food, snacks, drinks, and alcohol. This is also the cheapest gas on the island. It does require a membership.

No trip to Kailua-Kona is complete without a trip to Costco! Great for quick food from the outdoor food court, groceries, gifts, local food, and much more.

The ONLY place on the Big Island that has the SAME prices as the mainland. NO shipping added. Remarkable considering every single thing has to be shipped ( United States, UNION ships ONLY) or flown in.

Costco is right on the way to town from the Kona Airport. If you are a member, it has the cheapest gas around and is a great spot to fill your tank up when on the way to the Airport for your rental car. Close to town Safeway is an easy place to go.
