If you have time, take a drive across the CBBT. It's pricey, like $22 but it's one of the 7 modern engineering wonders of the world. 18 miles across leaves you a short drive to Cape Charles, a beautiful little bayside town that makes for an amazing day trip!

"One of the Seven Engineering Wonders of the Modern World"! 625 foot long Sea Gull Fishing Pier, restaurant, gift shop, bird watching, dolphin watching and more. A must experience marvel.

This 17 mile bridge crosses the Chesapeake Bay and includes two tunnels under the bay. The bridge even makes an appearance in a Mission Impossible movie scene where a portion of it is destroyed (only in the movie).
