One of the most culturally meaningful landmarks in the city, this model of Seville’s Giralda Cathedral Bell Tower was built in 1925. Its history includes being used to process Cuban exiles from 1962 to 1974 – thus its nickname. It originally housed The Miami News, and now hosts the MDC Museum of Art + Design.
Added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 1979, the Freedom Tower is now the home of the MDC Museum of Art + Design (MOAD).
The Freedom Tower is a building in Miami, Florida, designed by Schultze and Weaver. It is currently used as a contemporary art museum and a central office to different disciplines in the arts associated with Miami Dade College
The closest historic structure to Bayside is the Freedom Tower, which was modeled after the Giralda tower in Andalucía, Spain. 12 min (1.8 miles) via S Miami Ave and SE 1st Ave 9 min without traffic
