If you are looking for one of the most historical restaurants in Chamonix - then La Maison Carrier is a must. A traditional restaurant in the setting of a reconstructed Savoyard farm, it pays tribute to Marcel Carrier’s recipes, to local producers and heritage. Located next to Albert 1er, the old farmhouse offers an authentically alpine cuisine, developed with finesse and creativity. We especially love the sumptuous carousel of desserts on the antique furniture in the centre of the restaurant, which should not be missed year round!

Rediscover the cuisine from the past – A more rustic version from the same owners of the Albert Premiere, la Maison Carrier is set in a beautiful converted barn – In the centre of the restaurant, racks of lamb and suckling pig are slowly spit-roasted in the open fire.

A traditional Savoyard restaurant serving fine ‘montagnard’ cuisine. A fusion between past and present, within authentic Savoyard style decor. There is a very reasonable set menu at lunchtime, 20€ and 25€ Tuesday - Saturday
