Free, natural geothermal hot springs. Family-friendly, this is a great place to relax, soak, take in the beautiful scenery and begin and or end your trip to Taupo.

Free!!! Thermal hot spot located in a park along side a nice day walk. Popular with tourists. Just make sure not to take any valuables! This place is wonderful but notorious for theft of belongings

At the start of the Huka Falls walkway, stop and go for a swim in the thermal stream that runs down to the Waikato River. A natural wonder and amazing to sit in the naturally formed 'spa' pool on the edge of the river.
