Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts, known locally in the Washington, D.C. area as simply Wolf Trap, is a performing arts center located on 117 acres of national park land in Fairfax County, Virginia, near the town of Vienna. Indoor seating and 'on the grass' seats that are reasonable. Some sell out, but others do have tickets day of event. Check Wolftrap site for bands, groups, etc. Fun night out, not overly expensive. Pack a picnic for lawn seats. Free parking. Public bus transportation.

This is a hidden secret nested in the rolling hills of Vienna, VA. Fabulous venue, offering wonderful performances - Grab a picnic blanket and sit on the "lawn" for the show while you dine al fresco.
