Lake Rotoroa is a lake in Hamilton, Waikato, North Island, New Zealand. It has a surface area of about 54 hectares and an average depth of 2.4 metres. It is the home of the Hamilton Yacht Club, which holds regular sailing in the summer.

Hamilton Lake Domain is not far away from Hamilton Central. It is a significant recreational facility for residents of Hamilton. You can have a walk on the 3.8km flat walkway around the lake, which includes varied natural lakeside vegetation. Birdlife also flourishes in the lake area. The playground by the lake is a perfect place for the kid to have fun. There is also the Verandah Café which you can enjoy a coffee with the lake view.

27min drive. A nice walk around the lake popular by locals, close to hamilton city! Awesome playground at the domain for kids.

You will never disappoint at the lake, have a picnic on the grass in a sunny day, enjoy the view and beautiful nature. Kids will love this big and wonderful playground.
