35min drive. This is not only a great place to visit the animals but it’s a lovely walk! The zoo covers a large area.

Highly recommend. This main zoological garden of Hamilton covers 25 hectares. Allow 3 hrs. Definitely see the monkeys. Enjoy seeing the animals in their natural looking environment with lots of trees for shelter and privacy and most importantly lots of space. Bring water bottle, hat and sunscreen. Don't miss visiting this fabulous Zoo.

A great zoo, especially for families. Easy to walk around and see the animals up close. Super family friendly place to spend some time.
