Over at the 'camping ground beach' we have the walk bridge that we have all jumped off for 30 years. This bridge is safe to jump of at high tide only! You will hit the bottom at low tide for sure. Also jump of the side to were the tide is going so you do not float under the bridge in the current while under the water.

If you have children (or are a big child at heart) then Te Kopua domain is a wonderful place to swim, bike or skate on the pump track and skate bowl, play in the playground or just relax under the pohutukawa trees and enjoy some fish and chips from Jo’s takeaways.

A lovely area to swim and play. With beautiful harbour views and safe swimming. This location is a must see if you have small children. There are wonderful playgrounds and a skate park and pump track to race around. Amazing Fish and Chips at Jo's Takeaways too!
