The hotel bar at El Rey. Hip scene, especially Thursday-Saturday nights. A bit of a drive (or Uber) but generally pretty fun and good drinks. Monday is queer night.

“Where the fast lives slow down.” That phrase has been painted into a nicho above a small kiva fireplace in what used to be the hotel’s breakfast room. The space has recently transformed into La Reina bar, the hotel’s latest addition in an ongoing project to turn the space into a “love letter” to the region. Most Wednesdays, you can catch free live music at La Reina or our events lawn, from soul shaking blues, and alternative folk, to a little bit of Southwest country and everything in between.

Located in the El Rey motor court....off the beaten tourist path. You wouldn't guess from the outside, but La Reina is super chic, and the locals favorite place for an affordable Mezcal drink.
