If you want a quick meal that isn't McDonald's, I recommend Raising Cane's. Their chicken is always juicy, tender and crispy. They do one thing and they do it well. If you're in the mood for chicken and you want it fast, they can't be beat.

Bonnie is from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the birthplace of this "premium chicken" chain, so she's got a soft spot for it. New to KC as of summer 2016, the Westport location stays open late to accommodate the nightlife crowd. Cane's entire menu is chicken fingers, fries, Texas toast, and coleslaw, with an addictive dipping sauce. Don't forget the lemonade, and don't check the calorie counts.
