Since this won't show up in the standard Pittsburgh guides, wanted to add in one of the best shoe stores for both adults and kids! A Squirrel Hill long-time classic that is a five minute walk from the rental! Not inexpensive, for sure, but if you are looking for good shoes and actual salespeople who greet you and know their stuff, it's a throwback and has a large selection of shoes and sizes.

These guys are pretty serious about shoes and have been in the neighborhood for most of the twentieth century. Great selection of walking and running shoes as well as some more casual and formal options.
