This is an amazing place to dine out for lunch or a celebratory meal like a birthday or an anniversary. The food is stunning - not only are you eating with your eyes (it’s beautifully presented), the aromas and explosions of flavour are mind blowing - as good as a Michelin star restaurant. Located in the next town (Kingsbridge) it’s about 6 miles from Salcombe.

Jamie Rogers’ passion for cooking is palpable at this former warehouse in the centre of town. Have a drink in the bar, then head upstairs to a table beneath the beams. The place has a friendly air and cooking combines the best of the Devonshire larder with imaginative textures and flavours. Enjoy one of the tasting menus at this Michelin starred restaurant in Kingsbridge only 30 mins from The Bungalow.

This is a fantastic new restaurant and highly recommended. Bit more pricey but it is worth it. Jamie was in the semi-finals of Masterchef and we are very proud of this local man's achievements.

It is worth trying the award winning Twenty Seven as a treat or for a special occasion, the food is absolutely delicious and beautifully presented.
