Only 1 mile away: It's pricey, but honestly one of my absolute favorite restaurants ever! The food is unbelievable! Hot spot where Stephanie Izard serves up innovative small plates from a dramatic open kitchen. Girl & the Goat was nominated best new restaurant by the James Beard Foundation in 2011 and Izard won the Beard award for Best Chef Great Lakes in 2013. She was also named one of Food & Wine Magazine’s “Best New Chefs” in 2010.

Celebrity chef Stephanie Izard’s first restaurant. Outstanding small plates! Make a reservation months in advance if you can, or try your luck as a walk-in at 4-5pm. In the West Loop neighborhood on Randolph Street, aka “Restaurant Row”.

It can be difficult to get a dinner reservation. So hang at the bar & lounge for best cocktails & apps. FAV Ring of Fire.

This place is just amazing. Winner of TOP CHEF. Even if they say no tables available. We usually walk in, go to the bar and chill order 2 rounds by that time we are seated.
