Not only the museum is nice, the surrounding area is nice to walk too.

The Göteborg museum of art has collections from the 1500 's until today. The Museum has a Nordic profile but the collections also includes older Dutch and French art with works by Rembrandt, van Gogh, Monet and Picasso. On the top floor offers will find the Fürstenberg gallery, originally a private collection but that was later donated to the Museum. Here are paintings by artists like Carl Larsson, Ernst Josephson, P.S. Krøyer and Anders Zorn.
