The Smelly Goat is an odd name for the classy bar upstairs at Queen Chow, the former Queen Vic Hotel on Enmore Rd. I love the atmosphere here - it's dark and cosy, the design of the place is a mix of chic 1930s-style furnishings, with intimate nooks to curl up in and excellent bar staff to mix very nice drinks and offer advice about wines from the very good wine list. May be a bit un-pub for some (my husband, for one) but I love the feel of the place. Not budget-friendly, busy on Friday and Saturday nights, best in the late afternoon before the crowds get there.
