Just reopened in 2020 with enthusiastic, experienced landlords. I have had a couple of lovely meals there. Some Saturday nights you will find live music outside.

Local pub with lots of history and character. A 10 minute drive or 2 mile walk along country lanes. The bus that goes through Aveton Gifford also stops right outside the pub. Has decent pub food.

The local pub is just 5 minutes walk. The Church House Inn, Churchstow, is a 13th Century pub, built as a rest house for Benedictine Monks from Buckfast Abbey
