This is a favorite and local hot spot. If you want to meet the locals and even those from afar, stop by the well known mom and pop diner. You can't miss it located on the State St Hill in W. Lafayette. Brown and Orange Building. Inside you will close to the neighbors, enjoy the traditional breakfast anytime, or a sandwiched named after a Purdue football player. During home Purdue football games, if you go at 6am, (here will be a line) but you will have a great time meeting the Breakfast Club. Kind of like the tailgaters that start early. Triple XXX is more than a hamburger joint, although they have those! The good Indiana style fried tenderloin, hotdogs, BLTs and more. And a big selection for breakfast. Many menu items are named after Purdue Athletes What they are really known for is their homemade root beer. *Just a note, they only accept cash.

This restaurant not only has great food but is a hot spot for the locals! It may not look like much but it has a lot of history and you wont be disappointed!

Favorite/famous Purdue place to eat. They actually have their own root beer and a hamburger that is garnished with peanut butter. Good food - especially the breakfasts.
