The Katy Trail State Park is a state park in the U.S. state of Missouri that contains the Katy Trail, the country's longest recreational rail trail. It runs 240 miles, largely along the northern bank of the Missouri River, in the right-of-way of the former Missouri–Kansas–Texas Railroad. Sedalia is a stop along the trail at mile marker 229.

If biking or strolling is your thing, the Katy Trail in Sedalia, Mo is a must see. Miles and miles of trail going either direction. Nicely kept and year round fun!
