On the NW corner of the intersection of this street (NW 4th St and NW 8th Ave) is an Osprey Pole that has the nest of a family that has used the same nesting area seasonally for decades. Often spotted and heard in the yard are Pileated Woodpeckers, Barred Owls, Red-Bellied Woodpeckers, Red-Sholdered Hawks, and a plethora or jays, doves, and cardinals!
