Cerro San Luis (more commonly known as Madonna Mountain) has a few different trails that are great! The trailhead is within walking distance of the home. I love the "M" trail and the Lemon Grove. Hiking to the top is a great workout!

Sometimes mistakely reffered to as Madonna Mountain since the family ownes it and there is a Big M on the side. The M is actually for Mission Prep High School. There is a trail to the top if you have a few hours and want to get a workout.

Located in the center of the city. This peak rises more than 1,292 feet and is marked by a big "M". The base of the mountain is open to the public for hiking, mountain biking and sightseeing.

A beautiful hike in San Luis Obispo! I have been hiking here since childhood. It is a longer hike, will take you at least an 1.5-2 hours to go up and come back down. A lot of people bike it as well. It is definitely on the more strenuous side. The view at the top gives you 360 degree views of San Luis Obispo and the rest of the 7 sisters volcanic mountains that are in the town and surrounding area.
