This 3.2 miles loop is steep in some places but a fairly easy hike otherwise.

Beautiful trail ! Wide open and easy to follow. Takes about 2 hours to do the full loop . To complete the loop, you will need to cross the traffic bridge. There's plenty of room, but just keep that in mind if you have kids. Lastly, don't let the lower elevation gain fool you. There is a ton of up and down, and some spots are really steep, so pace yourself.

Lake Zwerner Trail is a 3.5 mile looping trail around the Yahoola Creek Reservoir at the outskirts of Dahlonega GA. Pack a lunch, this is one of our favorite hikes & fishing spots.
