Love shopping here! They have very reasonable prices, a good produce selection, quite a few organic choices and try to keep clean ingredient food products. Employees are not paid to stock shelves or bag groceries which cuts down on costs for customers. Employees don't bag groceries. Make sure to bring your own bags or a box.

Aldis grocery store is an important grocery store for you to remember. If you want inexpensive, healthy food choices then this is the store to shop during your stay in Wilmington. The secret behind their low prices is the store doesn’t purchase brand names but instead buys products from german companies which are not well known. Employees are not paid to stock shelves or bag groceries which cuts down on costs for customers. If you decide to shop at Aldi’s we have provided empty boxes in the front closet for you to fill your groceries with. One last thing, if you wish to use a shopping cart there, you need to deposit a quarter to unlock it from the other carts. You will get your quarter back once you are done with your cart.

Even cheaper than Trader Joe's. They have a ton of items. This store does not provide bags so bring your own or bring a box. The shopping carts require a deposit of $0.25 which is returned after you return your cart. This is what keeps costs low! They have regular brand snacks, wine, beer, frozen foods, meat, produce, and a lot of staples you may need. They also have lots of random items like dishes, towels, tools, beach supplies, and so on - which changes regularly. No bakery or butcher but they do sell bread items, meats, and cheeses.
