Freeport is home to LL Bean as well as many quality outlet stores.It offers some of the finest dining in Maine (and McDonalds or street vendors, if you are on a budget). There is so much that freeport has to offer it only made sense to include it as an entire town and not just limit it to a few shops of interest. Also not LL Bean often ofers workshops at their location and you may want to check their website before choosing what time you want to begin your exploration of this quintessential community.
