Loutro is a car-free village, only to be reached by boat from Chora Sfakion, in less than an hour you'll have reached Loutro and it's blue clear waters.

Loutro is a place for those who want something different and quiet on their holidays. A small picturesque fishing village in southwestern Crete, which has not yet been altered by mass tourism. For example, there are no large hotels with swimming pools. There are no roads full of people, restaurants and cosmic beaches, there are not even cars! Access is possible only by boat or if you want it, on foot (1.5 hours hiking on a path from Hora Sfakion or on the path from Anopolis). There are daily ferry schedules to and from Chora Sfakion, Sougia, Gavdos, Paleohora and Agia Roumeli.
