Fantastic views across the island, has an information center about the island wildlife. Perfect spot for whale watching from June to October each year.

The lighthouse is a great place to learn about the history of the island and an amazing place to catch some fantastic views. You will need a 4WD to access.

Queensland's oldest lighthouse, first lit in 1857 to provide a navigation point for shipping movements along the northern coastline. In 1998 the lighthouse was made fully automatic and now has a laser beam which directs light up to 30kms out to sea.
