Public library. You can go inside and read books or listen to music or (what I prefer) sit on the stairs of the building drinking wine watching the noisy, urban space. During summer open air cinema!

Probably the most diverse library in all of Vienna. Library cards (which you only need for lending books not for the entry itself like in some other libraries) are free for anyone under 18 and very cheap for students above 18 and even regular adults (compared to other libraries). It can be a bit noisy on a busy day but other than that great. The staff always friendly & helpful & they offer 24h book returns

This is the main library of vienna.On the top is situated a lovely Coffe- where you can enjoy your drink while having a view over viennas roofs.You can borrow movies, cd´s and of course books
