1 hr away. The lesser known Acadia on a peninsula. Little to no tourist press, I recommend going here over bar harbor if you want to connect with nature

Fantastic views, Schoodic Point peninsula juts way out into the Atlantic Ocean. Picnicking, hiking & cycling on the carriage trails, sightseeing, birding. A must see!

Absolutely stunning. One of the best places to see giant waves as they pound the shore. Watch the sun set beside Cadillac Mountain.
