Cane bayou is an excellent place to take a canoe ride through varied Louisiana habitats with lots of wildlife (i.e. gators). There are a few outfitters that will provide canoe rentals out of Lacombe, or if you have the means of carrying it on your vehicle you are welcome to borrow ours!
