The Oregon Gardens is an 80 acre botanical garden with lots of walking paths and beautiful scenery.

This is roughly a 20 min drive east of Salem, but worth the visit in the spring and summer. www.oregongarden.org

Beautiful in the Spring and Summer. Frequently have outdoor events, such as concerts. Big Christmas lights display in December.
