On a remote island on Georgian Bay south of Parry Sound is the world famous Henry's Fish Restaurant. Visit their website to book a float plane ride or a boat cruise from Parry Sound to get there. One of the more unique outings if you have a half-day.

Eat at Henry’s Fish Restaurant Please don’t come to Parry Sound and not plan to visit the world-famous Henry’s Fish Restaurant. Yes, it really is that good. It’s actually kind of an adventure to get to, so you can work it into your other wanderings. Located on Frying Pan Island, on the Georgian Bay, it’s definitely a bucket-list-worthy experience.

Take a water taxi from Georgian Bay Marina or a float plane from the Parry Sound Harbour. Enjoy the views of the beautiful Georgian Bay en route, and a traditional fish and chips meal on Frying Pan Island. Well worth the trip.
