This is where my guidebook photo was taken! Lake Louise is gorgeous - if you want t picture like mine you have to go on The Big Beehive Hike (find it on the All-Trails app). It is a moderate climb - but when you get to the top there is a spot to get a refreshing drink and/or fill up water bottles. I've done this hike without anything (very unprepared) and would suggest ensuring you bring a backpack with some snacks and water. Also, Lake Louise has a park and ride (the main lots can get crowded so sometimes Park and Ride is the way to go).

45 minutes down the road, you'll discover the magic of Lake Louise. This place is world famous for a reason. Bring your Banff National Park Pass and explore the area all day. Hike around the lake or up to Lake Agnes Tea Hut. Skate amidst the ice castle they construct in winter or cross country ski across the lake in winter. Stop for a drink or hot chocolate at the Chateau Lake Louise or nearby Post Hotel.

Just 1.5 hours from the The McLaren. Quite possibly one of the most beautiful and spiritual places on earth. Some say there is an energy vortex at the back of the lake. Take in many amazing hikes. Or chill at the gorgeous Fairmont Lake Louise Hotel - the lobby bar is beautiful and the restaurants decadent.
