The Charleston Aquarium is fantastic! It is fairly new and located right on Charleston Harbor. Great for everyone from the elderly to children. A great way to beat the heat!

What a great place to spend an afternoon with your family! This is a favorite place on my 4 year old daughter's list. The place is very clean and well thought out. Our favorite part of the aquarium is the turtle hospital (where you can watch the turtles being rehabilitated to go back into the ocean, and the stingray petting! A bonus; The views of the Ravenel Bridge, from the aquarium, are some of the best views in the city! We have seen dolphins from their view every time we have gone!
