Benedictine Monastery dating from de 11th century. Very rich in baroque architecture, a trip to the past, to the life of the monks who spent their days there. Gardens with history. A visit not to be missed!

The Monastery of St Martin of Tibães it was the mother house of the Benedictine order in Portugal and Brazil, and it is known for the exuberant Rococo decoration of its church.
