And iconic car free seaside village, with a maze of tiny streets. built into the cliff. Formerly a smugglers haunt. Can be reached on foot from Valley View (a five mile hike along the Cinder Track) and there is even bus most of the way back

Robin Hood’s Bay - pretty cliff side village and nice walk along the beach where you can swim when you go South and the tide is out.
